The oil/petroleum is used for gasoline and some types of oil make bubble gum,plastic.and ink.
1 advantage of oil is it provides gasoline for cars to move.Another advantage is it creates things we use in  our every day lives. 1 disadvantage is it pollutes the air like exhust from a car can pollute the air .Another disadvantage is it won´t last forever .
